What we hold, and why
Privacy notice
Sigilra keeps a small amount of information so it can answer enquiries and quote work. This notice says exactly what that is, where it lives, and how to have it removed. It covers this website and the two forms on it.
Who holds your information
Sigilra Studio, Chadayamangalam, Thakkalai, Nagarcoil, Tamilnadu, India. Write to [email protected] or call 90437 21226 with any question about this notice, and we will answer it in plain language.
What the forms collect
The main brief form asks for your name, email, company (optional) and a description of the project. The previsualisation form asks for name, email, production, locked locations, shoot dates, a budget band, and optionally a screenplay file.
The server also keeps a truncated, one-way hash of your connection address. It is used only to stop the forms being flooded; the raw address is not stored.
Screenplays and uploaded files
A screenplay you upload is stored in a private bucket under a random key. It is never given a public address, is never used as a sample, and is never shown to another client. Only the studio can open it. Ask us to delete it and we will, whether or not the project goes ahead.
Why we hold it
To reply to you, to scope and price the work you describe, and to keep a record of what was agreed. Submitting a form is your consent to that use. We do not build profiles, we do not run advertising, and we do not sell or rent anything to anyone.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries and their replies: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Uploaded screenplays: for as long as the enquiry is live, or until you ask for deletion.
- Analytics, if enabled: aggregate page and event data only, kept for the retention period configured in the analytics property.
Who processes it on our behalf
- Cloudflare — hosts the site, the enquiry database and the private file storage.
- Resend — delivers the studio's email notification for a new enquiry.
- Google Analytics — loads only when a measurement ID is configured; it receives page views and the events listed below, never your form contents.
- hCaptcha — checks the brief form for spam at the moment you send it.
- YouTube — a trailer loads only after you press play, and from then on YouTube's own terms and cookies apply.
Cookies and measurement
By default this site sets no cookies at all. If analytics is switched on, Google Analytics sets its own identifiers and records page views plus four events: a brief was sent, a previz enquiry was sent, the concierge was opened, and a conversation moved to WhatsApp. What you type into a form is never sent to analytics.
Your rights
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for a correction, ask for deletion, or withdraw consent for future contact. Write to [email protected] and we will act on it, normally within thirty days.
If your concern is not resolved, you can raise it with the Data Protection Board of India under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Security
Forms are served over HTTPS, database access is limited to the site's own runtime, and uploaded scripts sit in a private bucket. No system is perfect, but nothing you send is published, indexed, or shared with another client.
Children
The site is meant for businesses and adult professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly hold their information.
